Pete Dafeet Stutter

What’s it all about?
Lost My Dog label boss Pete Dafeet steps up for his eighth original release on the label, as the UK imprint enters its eighth year! Three original deep, vintage house tracks with strong melodies are provided by Pete and the title track is remixed by deep house star Moodymanc (2020 Soundsystem/Dubble D).

Who’s involved?
London-based Pete Dafeet is a DJ, producer, and co-founder of Lost My Dog. Since first catching the house music bug as a teenager in the late 90s, Pete has performed around the world while releasing and remixing music on Shaboom, Robsoul, Detour and Toolroom – music that's been supported by household names like Mark Farina, Danny Tenaglia, Groove Armada and Laurent Garnier.
Having recently returned from a 6 month tour of North and South America Pete is set for a busy 2012, which will see new original music, remixes, and an installment in the ‘Family Affair’ series all under the Lost My Dog banner. The ‘Stutter’ EP was finalized while on the road in South America, with Peace La Paz being inspired by and written in the Bolivian capital.
Moodymanc brings an almost untouchable pedigree to Lost My Dog. Danny Ward’s career began as Dubble D with signings to Grand Central and 2020 Vision, before he became part of the live 2020 Soundsystem setup and subsequently began releasing solo house tracks as Moodymanc. As Moodymanc he has graced Tsuba, Suara, Hudd Traxx, Landed and several more noteworthy deep and tech house labels.
This EP continues an exciting 2012 for Lost My Dog which will imminently see the release of Jon Delerious’ ‘Believe In You’ EP, Dominic Martin’s ‘Family Affair’ and continue with new music from Ian Pooley, Demarkus Lewis, Shades Of Gray, Murat Kilic, Dale Howard and YSE feat. Frank H. Carter III.

Washerman - Kutz From The Basement EP

Info:
Washerman is the brandnew project from Gianni Siravo. He's one half of Azuni and has released a bunch of records in his musical career. His first releases came out in 1998 with his former project Sequel, which was at the forefront of the broken twisted house movement. The gentle man from Zurich provides raw, honest and euphoric house music which is bound to the floor. With Washerman he moves on and presents some truly forward thinking tunes. To compare him with someone else makes no sense at all. This guy has his personal musical signature and that's just the way we love it! This beats are made to kill. Have Mercy! Put it on your MK's, bump it into your laptop or whatever you want but listen loud!

Available now on vinyl and on the 10th February for download from Juno

Forces of Nature - Journeys in Time and Space

Forces of Nature are back on Intelligent Audio with a full length album, it's been a long time coming and worth the wait!

Intelligent Audio has gained a loyal following and respect over the past 3 years for its dedication to quality music and freedom of expression for the artists. Releasing a double EP each release, IA includes deep and tech house, nu-jazz, chill out, funk, afrobeat, all kinds of broken beats... just simply good music, to make people smile, and remember what its all about...

Now, for the first time, Intelligent Audio brings both sides together, and is proud to announce the release of its first full length album, by the talented and incredible Forces of Nature...

Forces Of Nature emerged in the mid-nineties and have always been very prolific producers, releasing on LTJ Bukem's Earth and Cookin' labels, and Clean Up Records (home of the Sneaker Pimps), remixing The Shamen and being remixed themselves by the likes of Big Bud and PFM. They have worked on many collaborations, and have their own label Tundra Records, as well as their work for Intelligent Audio.

'Journeys In Time and Space' is quite simply a divine excursion into the philosophy of the label, delivering a musical message of intricate beauty, emotional melodies, deep techy basslines and razor sharp production.

11 tracks bound together in a mature musicality that only comes with years of experience and an infinite talent at the core.

This album will appeal to lovers of all genres of the underground, with an ear for what touches the soul, from the funky laidback groove of the opening track 'Timeless' to deep house grooves like Air of Da Dawg and E3QU Wow! and the epic spacey soundtrack of the closing salvo 'The Prophet', it's a cosmic journey from start to finish.

A long time in the making, this LP will be a firm favourite among serious music heads the world over who will appreciate the love and attention to detail that has been carefully crafted into this classic audio sculpture.

Let the music do the talking.

DJ Linus - Sunshine Pub EP

Loudeast Records keep their focus on Germany: following appearances by Alex James and tech house legend The Timewriter on their previous release they now turn to another stalwart of the scene in Munich’s DJ Linus. Linus is currently plotting a fresh assault on dance music with new productions and the resurrection of his influential Exun label.

Loudeast present his first original material in almost 12 months with ‘Sunshine Pub’ – serious disco house, solid beats and a dirty porn sample, or simply described by label boss Nacho Marco as “a jewel we couldn’t refuse”. A remix and dub from Spaniard Garcynoise complete the EP.

Support from Shur-I-Kan, Tony Humphries, Fred Everything, Llorca, Agnes, Jef K, Pete Herbert, Doc Martin and many more.
