The eighth release on Good Voodoo Music comes in the run up to the madness of the Miami WMC and further shows the variety of styles that Domineeky has in his arsenal. From the ancestral house vibes of 'Forefathers (Dance For Our Ancestors)', the electro sensibilities of 'We Are Gonna Make It', the flute laden Brazilian influences on 'Knock One Out' and the stripped back meandering groove of 'Sunrise and Rain', this EP is rich in many ways.

Domineeky's last outing on the label, Take You On, was a big success and included remixes from Pete Dafeet which were featured in Traxsource's 'Essential 20 Deep House' and reached the top 50 in their sales chart. DJ support came from Tony Humphries, Danny Krivit, Master Kev, Nick Holder and several more.

Featuring Audio Angel on vocals, this is like San Francisco house with a European edge to it in the form of the driving bassline that permeates the track. Overlaid with strong vocals and a laidback guitar riff this track is one that will most definitely be on your playlist for a long time.

Whilk and Misky a duo living in London. Whilk produces and Misky does the vocals.

I can't say enough good things about this track, whether it is the driving bass, brooding, melancholy vocals, the subtle whispered hints of infidelity in the sub vocals or the piano and strings which create the atmostphere of the track. The fact that Whilk and Misky are giving it away for free is just the cherry on the trifle, icing on the cake and other food based metaphors for a really good thing..

Something with a slightly darker, techier vibe for you today. ItWasFate is a recent convert to house music having seen the light following a trip to Ibiza. Keep Movin is a recent production but shows how quickly he has grown to understand the music that keep us movin..

InnerCity Records is the new label from Mark Horsfall (Horsey Brothers/Amenti Music/Kaluki) and Danny Stott (aka Roland Nights - Amenti Music/Lost My Dog). The label, based in Manchester and launching in early April, will release a series of various artist EPs across both vinyl and digital formats.

Volume 1 features 6 artists that represent the very best of what the deep house scene has to offer right now – the well established Giom features on the vinyl release with Dale Howard , Leigh D Oliver and Roland Nights, while young Brazilian star Gutto Serta and Welshman Casey Lee Jones complete the digital release which will follow a month later.

Speaking of the label’s ethos, Mark and Danny state, "InnerCity is born out of a raw passion for proper house music. Remaining true to the spirit of house music is our primary aim, which does not involve trying to strictly emulate the music of days gone by but finding house music made out of love for the dance floor.
